If you are interested in exploring the local cultural landscape, you’re in luck! The Euregio cultural centre of the Alta Pusteria valley is housed here in the Grand Hotel Dobbiaco and there are a variety of events taking place throughout the year right on our doorstep. These include the renowned Gustav Mahler Music Weeks, the South Tyrol Festival and the Dobbiaco Talks. The surrounding area also offers plenty of sights. Take a guided tour of the Tre Cime dairy facilities or explore the beauty of nature by visiting the Three Peaks Nature Park House (also situated in the Grand Hotel) or the Dolomythos Museum in San Candido.
Take a leisurely stroll through the village centre or immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the Christmas market during Advent– there’s something for everyone!

in Dobbiaco
The Three Peaks Christmas in Dobbiaco (end of November-beginning of January) enthrals young and old with its magical atmosphere, culinary specialities and diverse programme. The Dolomiti Superbike race in July has been a meeting point for mountain bike enthusiasts for over 25 years now. It is regarded as one of the toughest MTB races in South Tyrol and beyond. In June, the Langis.klong Open Air festival, held in the park just opposite our youth hostel, is a great occasion to party, dance and relax. Culture vultures shouldn’t miss the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks in July and the South Tyrol Festival in August with its first-class music programme. The Dobbiaco Talks in September attract scores of visitors every year with discussions on current environmental topics.
